Good luck at your new job! I remember it to be a nice place, odd how all the sites are on the side of a hill. There is a nice little short hike (about a mile) to a waterfall across the street from the campground called Juney Whank Falls. We also rode our bikes up along the creek at sunset. Very pretty. I think you’ll like it there. Bryson City is a cute little town too. Enjoy!

The local newspaper today reported that winds in the county yesterday were clocked from 50mph to 80mph with one gust of 85mph on Kennedy Space Center.

Cool pictures, thanks for sharing. You sure had sight of some neat wildlife! I’ve seen lots of wild turkeys but never one in full feather spread. Nice pic!
